Hello my friends, I have a sensitive request. I have observed a friend struggle for so long, that I needed to take action. I’ve decided to reach out to you all to help me help her.      
You see, I have known Elsa since she was 17 yrs old. She was a teen mother in Chicago when we met.  She is now 50 and 6 children later.  

Life has tendencies to teach us lessons that sometimes feels like life sentences.  My friends, this is  a very special request .   Elsa was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015. She endured a double mastectomy, chemotherapy, and radiation.  Of course,  not without mishaps and side effects, emotional turbulence,  physical pain, and loss of hair;  but Elsa made it through, thank God!   Elsa was in remission as of December, 2024. Unfortunately, they found additional carcinoma cells under her arms and had to start chemotherapy again, had surgery, again, and yes, lost her hair again.  Fortunately, she’s about  to have her last chemotherapy treatment this month. She’s tired, but her faith keeps her going.  Elsa has gone through so much, almost tumultuous. It makes you wonder why this petite nice, kind, and  religious woman has suffered like this.   Well, because Cancer does not discriminate. It doesn’t care about good people; it just invades you.
Elsa lives in the Rio Grande Valley now; Yes, we started out in Chicago and we are both in Texas.🌵

My friends and gente buena, I am asking you to please help me, help her. This fundraiser  is going to give Elsa some peace of mind, by providing for her daily living expenses. Elsa loses strength every time she has her treatment.  She has encountered this process practically by herself. The psychosocial and emotional issues Elsa has endured is just too much. She will be gratefully blessed by our support and a little less stressed for a couple months.  I understand how difficult it is now days. Please let’s share  a  little of what we have. 

One of Elsa’s daughters painted a bouquet of white lilies, for her. However, Elsa would like the painting to go to one of you. So if you would please pick a number between 100 and 300 and include it as part of your name. Elsa will randomly choose the winning donor.
