In January 2025, I suffered a violent assault at the hands of my employer—simply because I wished to stop working for him. My employer, accompanied by two of his staff, came to my home and attacked me while I slept. The injuries I sustained required hospitalization and ongoing therapy.

The path to recovery has been long and difficult. Adding to the hardship, I was unable to recover my professional tools after the incident, losing irreplaceable knives and equipment essential to my work. As a chef, cooking isn’t just my job—it’s my passion and my identity.

I am now seeking support to rebuild my toolkit and launch a series of pop-up events in the Seattle area. I’m also available to create private dining experiences for donors who want to support my journey forward.
