In August I was diagnosed with a brain tumor, as it turned out it was growing really quickly so I was scheduled for surgery ar OU hospital as soon as possible.

November 13th I went under for a craniotomy and had the tumor removed. Thankfully doctors are hopeful this will give me my life back. People close to me with know I've struggled with horrible chronic migraines, neurological issues and just general nightie health for the last several years without answers. 

So this surgery was a dream come true. But it's a dream with a price tag for sure. I'm going to be out of work until into 2026. This means all my medical expenses and unfortunately all holiday expenses for our family and daughter fall on my husband completely. Medical appointments, medications and travel go specialists are all expensive and we definitely aren't wealthy people. Recovery is going to be hard buy hopefully this will be the last surgery I need for a while.
