Late last summer a storm with high winds caused a 60 ft tree on an abandoned lot, to land on my house.  Insurance was bombarded with claims so while waiting months for the adjuster to send an engineer and file the damage we had to hurry and get a roof on to cover the damage before winter came. We  are just now getting experts in assessing the damage which includes reframing part of the house, but it has become a domino effect since the house is 135 years old.  The can of worms has been open and it's officially becoming a money pit.   So much repair is needed especially after finding split beams, burnt beams, damaged wires but the real kicker is that an old roof exists between our ceiling and the new roof which is making the whole thing very tricky.  I normally do not like to ask for help, but this house has been in our family for 105 years and I would like to make this a safe happy home again.  Any help is appreciated.
