We are humbly asking for support to help cover funeral costs, memorial expenses, and other final arrangements. Any contribution, no matter the size, will help ease this burden and allow us to focus on what matters most right now—spending precious time with David and supporting him through the remainder of his journey.

Did you know the average funeral cost in the state of New Jersey is approximately $9,100-$9,500? Did you know it can cost upwards of $8,000 for a memorial service and cremation? That’s such a large burden for a family while grieving the loss of a loved one.

The kindness and generosity shown during this time will help us honor David's strength, his determination, and the impact he has had on those who know and love him.

For many years, David has been courageously battling prostate cancer. Throughout this long journey, he has endured countless doctor's appointments, treatments, procedures, hospital stays, and setbacks. Despite the physical and emotional toll, he has continued to fight with incredible strength, determination, and resilience. He has never given up, and even now, he continues to face each day with courage.

At this point, David has exhausted nearly every medical intervention available to him. While there are no more curative treatment options, he is still actively receiving secondary chemotherapy treatments in hopes of extending his time and maintaining his quality of life. The reality is that we do not know exactly how much time we have left with him. We are cherishing every day, every conversation, and every moment together as a family.

As we navigate this uncertain chapter, we are also trying to prepare for the financial burden that lies ahead. David does not have life insurance, and because he relies on state medical insurance, there are limited resources available to help cover funeral and final expenses when the time comes. While it is incredibly difficult to think about, we want to ensure that we can honor him with the dignity, respect, and farewell he deserves without placing an overwhelming financial strain on our family
