About this fundraiser

My vehicle was impacted at an intersection during rainy weather while I was assisting animals in need.  Unfortunately the girl impacted my car because she sped up through the intersection as I was already making a safe turn.  In Illinois the person turning left is automatically deemed to be the one failing to yield even if the driver had enough of a gap and the other driver did something to affect this scenario.  That being said I was automatically cited even though I was not the reason for the accident.

The other driver also threatened to cause physical harm to myself along with several of her friends.  I chose to keep my distance from her and assist with the animals in my care.  However, the amount of damage my car has endured under liability insurance is well over ten thousand dollars.  I am unable to pay for this kind of repair as an Iraq veteran who has done mostly gig work this is probably one of the worst things I have experienced.

I have several animal lives that depend on me for their care.  I cannot transport or even work without a vehicle.  This is detrimental to my animals and my livelihood.

Please help me to repair my car and feed my animals during this ordeal.  I don’t know what I am going to do.
