My name is Jennifer, and I never imagined I would find myself asking for help like this. But right now, my family and I are facing a situation that I simply cannot manage on my own.

In June of 2026 I went to the ER because my whole left hand was turning blue. Initially the CT scan showed a subclavian artery blood clot and a mass in my superior midiastinum. I had further testing such as a PET scan that showed an uptake of 6, multiple repeat CT scans. 2 biopsies, and and MRI. The biopsy showed a Shwannoma,  great not great but the MRI could not see which nerve it was growing from. Surgery was set for Oct 2026 …. I had a thoracic surgeon,  ENT surgeon and Vascular surgeon on board! Vascular requested a new CT with a different contrast… i received a phone call stating that CT showed the Shwannoma had grown into the wall of my subclavian artery making the surgery go from a robot assist to a full open chest with an arterial bypass. Surgery was still scheduled and we are bringing on a cardiovascular surgeon… cardiovascular wants a 3D print of the CT …they get that print and it shows the tumor growing into the subclavian artery and attached to two other arteries…. Received another phone call stating Surgery went completed to impossible for any surgeon here in Indiana do to needing a bypass on 3 arteries and having to stop my heart. They also believe I have a very rare form of an aggressive Shwannoma… due to this I am waiting to hear back from MD Anderson in Texas, Mayo in Minnesota, or Cleveland clinic in Ohio on if they can perform the surgery safely. I will have to be in hospital for about a week after surgery and 15-20 days in rehab near the hospital i had surgery at. During those days I will have someone with me. I am asking for anyone's help on the travel to and from the hospital and the hotel stay for most likely my mom and daughters. I know its a lot to ask, I dont know how I will manage my home , bills, and life in another state for a month. All and any help is appreciated.
