Help Kia and Her Daughter Move From Shelter to Stability 💜

A Mother's Journey of Faith, Hope, and a New Beginning

Fundraising Goal: $10,000

Hello, my name is Kia, and I'm reaching out with a humble heart, asking for help during one of the most challenging chapters of my life.

My daughter and I are currently experiencing homelessness and living in temporary housing/shelter.

Every morning, I wake up hoping that today will bring us one step closer to having a safe, stable place to call home.

Living in temporary housing comes with uncertainty, emotional exhaustion, and the constant worry of what tomorrow may bring. While I am grateful that we have somewhere to stay, my greatest prayer is for us to finally have a permanent home.

I am a mother. I am a hardworking woman. I am a woman of faith. And despite everything, I refuse to give up.

My Story

For approximately 30 years, I have dedicated my life to working with children, helping them learn, grow, and believe in themselves.

I have spent much of my life encouraging others to reach their potential. Today, I find myself in a position where I need encouragement and support as I work toward rebuilding my own life.

Even while experiencing homelessness, I continue pursuing employment opportunities and working to grow my small business, Spiritual Bliss Products.

I have dreams, goals, and a determination to become financially independent.

But right now, I need a helping hand to get there.

Why I'm Asking for $10,000

My goal is to raise $10,000 to help my daughter and me transition from temporary housing into a safe, permanent home.

The funds will help cover:

Security deposits and initial rent payments

Housing application fees

Moving and possible relocation expenses

Transportation for employment and housing opportunities

Food, personal necessities, and basic household items

Essential living expenses while we establish stability

I am considering relocating if it means better employment opportunities and affordable housing.

However, if relocating is not financially possible, I will continue searching for permanent housing in our current area.

The destination may change, but our goal remains the same: a safe place to call home.

What Having a Home Would Mean to Us

Sometimes, the things we miss most are the simplest things.

Having our own keys.

Being able to unpack our belongings.

Preparing dinner in our own kitchen.

Going to sleep without worrying about where we will be staying next.

Waking up knowing we have a place that belongs to us.

These are the things I dream about for my daughter and me.

I don't need luxury. I don't need anything extravagant.

I simply want stability, security, peace, and the opportunity to rebuild our lives.

I'm Not Giving Up

There are days when this journey feels overwhelming.

There are moments when I wonder how much longer we will have to endure this uncertainty.

But I remind myself that our current circumstances do not define our future.

My faith continues to give me strength.

I believe that difficult chapters can lead to beautiful new beginnings.

I am continuing to work toward our future, but the financial challenges of securing permanent housing have made it difficult to move forward without assistance.

I'm not asking someone to rebuild our lives for us. I'm simply asking for a bridge while I continue rebuilding them myself.

How You Can Make a Difference ❤️

If you are able to donate, please know that every contribution, regardless of the amount, will be deeply appreciated.

Whether it's $5, $10, $25, $50, or whatever you can comfortably give, your kindness can help us move closer to permanent housing.

If you cannot donate, sharing our fundraiser with your family, friends, church community, coworkers, or social media connections would mean so much.

Every share creates another opportunity for our story to reach someone who may be able to help.

And if you believe in the power of prayer, please keep my daughter and me in yours.

A Message From My Heart

To everyone who has taken the time to read our story, thank you.

Thank you for seeing us.

Thank you for caring.

Thank you for reminding us that kindness and compassion still exist.

I know that many people are facing their own struggles, and I would never take anyone's generosity for granted.

My daughter and I are simply trying to move from surviving each day to building a future filled with stability, independence, and hope.

We may be living in temporary housing today, but I am believing and working toward a future where we can finally say:

"We're home." 🏡💜

With love, faith, and heartfelt gratitude,

Kia and Daughter
