I’m raising funds for myself as I try to manage type 1 diabetes while unemployed and facing serious financial problems. I was recently hospitalized for a heart blockage and had a stent placed, and on top of that I’ve been struggling with poor blood sugar control. Right now, I’m doing my best to get through each day, but my situation has become very hard to manage on my own. Because money is so tight, I’ve been rationing insulin and eating low-cost meals just to get by. That has left me feeling weak, out of shape, very tired, and mentally stressed. My insulin supply is low, my refrigerator is empty, and job prospects are not looking great right now. These are not just temporary worries for me anymore. The need for insulin, food, rent, and basic clothing is ongoing, and having steady support would help me keep up with these essentials while I work through this difficult period. Donations will go toward insulin, food, clothes, and rent. Recurring donations would help me more predictably keep insulin on hand and food in the house as these needs continue over time, and one-time donations would also make a real difference right away. If you’re able to help, please consider donating or sharing my fundraiser. Any support would mean a lot to me and would help relieve some of the pressure I’m under as I try to take care of my health and basic needs.
