The epitome of love, the father that every child dreamed of, the grandfather a child yearns for, the uncle that loved without judgment, the brother that made sure he was there and showed up and the friend everyone deserved, this was Luis A. Bezares, 79, of New Brunswick, NJ who was called to be with our Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 30, 2026. Born on August 11, 1947 in Puerto Rico.

Luis' (Wiso) overall biggest and proudest accomplishments were his four surviving children, Maritza Bezares, Mildred Bezares-Mendez, Luis M. Bezares and Anthony Bezares, who gave him the "best father in the world" title and considered him to be their best friend.

Along with his crown jewel grandchildren, Eva Bezares (predeceased), Luis O. “Pookie” Bezares, Jasmine Maldonado, Amaris Maldonado, Carlos "Ito" Mendez, Idaliese "Lalie" Mendez, Jenise "Morre" Mendez, Aneudis "Andy" Soto Jayden Bezares, Melody Bezares; and his 8 treasured great grandchildren. NUMEROUS nieces & nephews, siblings, friends and other family members who adored Wiso.
