You might already know the incredible legend of Stephen Siller, but if you don't, get ready to be inspired. On the morning of 9/11, Stephen had just finished his shift as a firefighter when the first plane hit the World Trade Center. Instead of heading home, he turned right back around to join the fight.

When gridlocked traffic stopped his truck at the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel, he didn't give up—he strapped 60 pounds of firefighting gear onto his back and ran the rest of the way through the tunnel on foot. He made the ultimate sacrifice that day to save others.

Now, it's our turn to pick up the torch!
