My brother Adam has been in and out of the hospital for nearly 2 years now and has almost died several times. He has undergone several major surgeries and is bound to a wheel chair now. He has many medical issues and has to go to various appointments because of this and my mother takes him to them. However, my mother is very small and has bad osteoporosis and arthritis which makes it hard for her to get his wheel chair in and out of the truck with out potentially injuring herself. We are trying to raise money to get one of the lighter wheelchairs that are 15lbs or lighter for Adam so that my mom does not injure herself struggling to get the wheelchair in and out of her truck. Adam would also like to raise money to get other medical items and to help get school supplies and clothes for his children.
