Help an Honorably Discharged Army Veteran Family Get a Reliable Vehicle

My name is Michael. I served as a soldier in the United States Army for 15 years, from 1993 to 2008, before receiving an honorable discharge. Today, both my wife and I are disabled. We live on a very limited, fixed SSI income, and everyday survival has become an uphill battle.

Right now, our biggest hardship is a total lack of transportation. We do not have a car, and we have no friends or family nearby who can help us get around.

Living without a vehicle makes basic necessities nearly impossible. We struggle to get to critical medical and dental appointments, buy groceries, and manage our daily household needs. Most importantly, not having a car is keeping our family apart. Our 15-year-old daughter is currently in foster care due to past homelessness. We love her, miss her terribly, and want nothing more than to bring her home. But to reunite our family, reliable transportation is an absolute necessity.

Our strict budget means we cannot walk into a traditional dealership. We have no money for a down payment, and we cannot afford high monthly car payments or interest rates on our fixed income.

We have tried every other option available. We reached out to veterans' groups, disability organizations, and local charities. Unfortunately, every group we contacted either ran out of funds or had strict guidelines that made us ineligible. We keep falling through the cracks.

Because we do not have Facebook or any other social media, we are relying entirely on the kindness of people who see this page and decide to help.

Every dollar raised will go directly toward buying a modest, reliable used car outright so we do not have a monthly payment. It will also help cover the basic cost of insurance and registration.

Securing a reliable car would be a massive blessing for my wife, our adult autistic son, and myself. It means we can finally take care of our health, live independently, and bring our daughter back home where she belongs.

If you can donate even a small amount, it will change our lives. If you cannot give, please consider sharing our link through text or email with others who might be able to support us.

Thank you for reading our story, and thank you for supporting a veteran family in need.
