About this fundraiser

In December 2025, I was leaving work when, without any warning or explanation, several people grabbed me from behind. I was frightened and struggled. They pushed me. There were many of them, and they kept asking me if I was a U.S. citizen. They would not let me speak.

In the middle of all that confusion and what I felt was an unjust situation, they began kicking me and trying to force me to the ground. Eventually, they succeeded. I fell and hit my head very hard. I do not remember anything after that. They left me lying on the ground. A woman who was passing by helped me get back up after they had already left.

Since that day, I have suffered from the effects of the blows to my head, anxiety, and a fear of leaving my home. I feel helpless because I do not know whether it is safe to call the police. Now, the people involved wear police identification on their vests, and I am afraid because I do not know whom I can trust.

Months later, I went to a community health center because I thought someone would listen to me and help me. Instead, they only ordered blood tests. The doctor barely looked at me until I asked her to examine me. I also spoke to the social worker and asked for a report documenting my story, but nothing was done.

I feel abandoned. I have always tried to be a good person. I have no criminal record. I am undocumented, and I have lived in this country for 25 years, respecting this country and trying to live an honest life. Yet this is how I have been treated.

I have no job, and I have lost everything because I am afraid to go outside and look for work. I am asking for help, please. I know there are still good people in this world who care about others.

Please help me survive financially until things become safer and calmer. Any donation, no matter how small, would help me get through this difficult time. If you cannot donate, sharing my story would also mean a great deal to me.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who takes the time to read my story and to anyone who can offer a helping hand.
