My mom, Ajoya Gause, has a big heart for the people in our Rochester community who are experiencing homelessness. For a while now, she has been helping through her church, sorting clothing donations and serving meals to the community. Now she's ready to take that work further and start doing more on her own.
Winter in Rochester is hard on everyone, but for people without a warm place to go, it can be dangerous. With the cold months coming, Ajoya wants to be able to provide things like warm clothes, blankets, hot meals, and everyday essentials to as many people as she can.
She believes everyone deserves to feel loved and cared for, no matter their situation or social status. Sometimes a warm coat or a hot meal is more than just a need being met. It's a reminder that someone sees you and cares.
She's starting small, but with your help she can reach more people this winter and keep growing from there. Every donation, big or small, makes a difference. If you can't give, sharing this page means just as much.
Thank you for helping us take care of our community.
