My husband unexpectedly passed away after an emergency surgery that he didn't survive and everything was always in his name. We had no will or a transfer upon death on our title/deed. I would like to payoff his credit card and a HELOC along with the attorney fee for probate (around 7500.00) and replenish the escrow shortage (around 5,000.00) which rose the mortgage payment over 500.00 a month. I'm on SS and Widow benefits of 2400 a month. I don't want to lose the house as I will not have a place to live. No family or friends that can help. So, I am setting my pride and humility aside to ask for some help. I have no assets, car,no retirement, IRA, CDS. If anyone wants to help I would extremely grateful and appreciative.
