Honoring the Life of David Lamar Hamm

With heavy hearts, we share the unexpected passing of our beloved David

David had a personality all his own. He loved making people laugh, whether he was doing his best Denzel Washington impression, impersonating other actors, or bringing a favorite comedian’s routine to life. He had a creative spirit and expressed it through painting, while his love for video games was something he carried with him from childhood into adulthood.

Above all, David loved God. He was passionate about sharing his faith, spoke openly about Jesus, and was unashamed of the Gospel. His faith was not something he kept to himself—it was an important part of who he was.

As we mourn his unexpected passing, we are preparing to celebrate his life and lay him to rest in Pennsylvania. Our desire is to honor his memory with a meaningful farewell that reflects the person he was.

The cost of his funeral and burial is approximately $11,000, with payment required before the service. We have established a fundraising goal of $11,500 to help cover these expenses and associated processing fees.

During this difficult time, we are asking family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched to consider helping us meet this need. Every contribution, regardless of the amount, will help us give David a loving and dignified farewell.
