In June, my family experienced an unimaginable loss when my beloved 2 year old nephew, Caleb Brown, was tragically shot and killed by a stray bullet. Losing Caleb has completely shattered our family, and his mother has been devastated by the loss of her precious son.

To be completely honest, his mother originally asked me not to create this fundraiser. But I convinced her that there are still good people in this world who care, and that we do not have to face this difficult time alone.

We created this fundraiser  to help raise money for Caleb’s headstone and to give him the peaceful and respectful burial he deserves. No family should ever have to experience the pain of losing a child, especially in such a sudden and heartbreaking way.

Caleb was only 2 years old. He had his whole life ahead of him, and our family will forever cherish the memories and love he gave us. Although nothing can bring him back, we want to honor his life and make sure he has a beautiful place where our family can visit, remember him, and keep his memory alive.
