This fundraiser is for a young rig welder who supported his family by traveling to different states for welding work.

A record-high flood struck Bloomfield, NM, on the night of October 22, 2026.

Amid the roaring floodwaters that night, Ralando helped many neighbors on County Road 5005 get to safety. He went into the rapidly rising water three times to rescue men, women, and children, leaving no time to save his own animals and pet or move his three welding trucks to safety. The trucks held welding machines, power tools, welding rods, oxygen and acetylene bottles, a cutting torch set, roll-out wheels, gas monitors, and other pipe-welding tools.
