Help Us Honor the Life and Memory of James William Bell

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of James William Bell, a beloved husband, son, friend, and truly unforgettable soul. James passed away following a short illness and multiple emergency surgeries, leaving behind a lifetime of memories, countless people who loved him, and a void that can never truly be filled.

Born on April 18, 1977, to Gary and Judy Bell in Tullahoma, Tennessee, James spent much of his life in Summitville, where his family has deep roots. If you knew James, you knew he was a force of life. He lived in the moment, followed his heart, and never hesitated to stand up for someone in need. He had a gift for making people laugh, a fearless spirit, a generous heart, and a smile that could put anyone at ease. With his gift of gab, James never met a stranger, and once you met him, you never forgot him.

One of James's greatest passions was music, especially classic country songwriting. He dreamed of writing a hit song, and while his name may never have reached the top of the charts, his lyrics and music touched hearts in ways that mattered far more than fame. His words, humor, and spirit will continue to live on through the songs he wrote and the people he inspired.

Even in his passing, James continued to give to others through his heroic decision to be an organ donor. His generosity has already touched several lives, allowing a part of him to live on and giving others the gift of hope. It is a beautiful reflection of the kind of man James was: someone whose heart was always big enough to help another person.

Throughout this heartbreaking time, his loving wife, affectionately known as “Miss,” remained by his side as he peacefully passed. While his family and friends are grieving this tremendous loss, they are also faced with the unexpected financial burden of arranging his funeral and memorial services. Unfortunately, James passed away without life or health insurance, leaving these expenses to be managed during an already devastating time.

We are asking for help to give James the respectful farewell and memorial he deserves. Any donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward helping cover funeral and memorial expenses and easing the financial strain on his loved ones as they navigate this difficult loss.
