Help Kuma Get the Vet Care He Needs

Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out today with a heavy heart to ask for help for my beloved dog, Kuma.
Recently, Kuma fell ill. We noticed that he wasn't eating for a few days and was straining to go poo. So I took him to the Emergency Vet, and they said his gallbladder is enlarged and that he has lots of gas. So I need to make him a Vet appointment for more labs and more X-rays. To get him back on His paws and live a comfortable, healthy life.
Anyone who knows Kuma knows how special he is—He loves to play, run, and go for walks. He is such a big part of our lives. He is also my husband's support dog for his PTSD. As he served in the United States Navy back in 2001-2004, seeing him uncomfortable and hurting has been truly heartbreaking.
Unfortunately, the cost of emergency care, diagnostics, and treatment has quickly built up. The estimated cost for their treatment is $4000. Here is a quick breakdown of what these funds will go directly toward:
Veterinary Diagnostics & Tests: $1500
Treatments / Procedures / Medications: $500
Follow-up Care & Monitoring: $2000
We are doing everything we can on our end, but the medical bills have become overwhelming. Every single dollar raised will go directly to Kuma's veterinary care and medical expenses.
If you are able to donate, even a small amount, it would mean the world to our family. If you aren't able to contribute financially, sharing this page with your friends, family, or social networks would help us immensely.
Thank you so much for your love, kindness, and support during this tough time. We will keep everyone updated on Kuma's progress here!
With deep gratitude,
The Wilkinson Family
