DIRECT REQUEST FOR A RUNNING CAR (NO CASH WANTED)

Hi everyone. I am reaching out to my neighbors in Hampshire County because I am at my wits' end and desperately need a miracle to keep my job. I am a single mom living in Romney, and my car engine just completely blew up after I spent the last $500 I had trying to fix it.

I am facing losing my employment and missing important state medical appointments simply because I have no physical way to get there. I already have a valid WV driver's license and active auto insurance—I just have zero wheels.

Because I work and try to do the right thing, I do not qualify for the state vehicle programs that require you to be on welfare cash assistance. The system is completely failing me, and I cannot do this alone anymore.

PLEASE NOTE: I am NOT asking for a single dime of cash money. I do not want cash donations. I am strictly looking for someone—a local business owner, a church, or a kind neighbor—who has an old, ugly, but reliable "point A to point B" vehicle sitting around that they would be willing to sign over or donate to a working mom. It doesn't need to be fancy at all; it just needs to be mechanically sound enough that it won't break down on me in a month.

I know I put a goal for $700 because I'm certain I could get a cheap running car for $700 I also know that I wrote in my passage that I didn't want cash money because I really don't want cash I just need a vehicle but this is the only way I could post my issue I do apologize my picture is a picture of myself and my daughter that I'm currently struggling and very very freaking out about my situation I don't know how I'm going to get to these appointments and my first appointment being on the 10th that's through the state so I can get disability.
