Our hearts are broken as we share the unexpected loss of my beloved son, Jimmy, who passed away at the age of 57.
Jimmy was a son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend who loved deeply. He leaves behind a family who loved him dearly, including his children, grandchildren, siblings, and many nieces and nephews. Just days before his passing, Jimmy welcomed his second grandchild into the world, making this loss even more heartbreaking for our family.
Jimmy found joy in life's simple pleasures. He loved fishing, camping, spending time at the beach, exploring the forests and mountains of Northern Nevada, and watching drag car races. He had a special love for Shar-Peis and treasured time with the people he loved. As a teenager, he even worked with traveling carnivals, an experience he often remembered fondly. For more than 20 years, Jimmy worked as a long-haul truck driver for FedEx. In recent years, he faced significant mental health challenges, and despite his efforts, those struggles eventually became overwhelming.
Jimmy's passing was sudden and unexpected, and our family was not financially prepared for the many expenses that come with such a tragic loss.
We are humbly asking for help to give Jimmy the dignified farewell he deserves. Donations will help cover the costs of his cremation, urn, a small viewing, a Celebration of Life, travel expenses so his daughter can be with family after recently giving birth by C-section, and other unexpected final expenses.
Any donation, no matter the amount, will help ease the financial burden on our family during this incredibly difficult time. If you are unable to donate, we would be deeply grateful if you would share this page and keep our family in your thoughts and prayers.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness, compassion, and support during one of the most difficult times of our lives.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Susan Myers-Davis and Family
