Update from the Kondo Family: Honoring Takuya’s Life

Update

To our family, friends, and supporters,

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for the incredible love, prayers, encouragement, and generosity you have shown throughout Takuya’s journey.

Because of your kindness, hundreds of people came together to support our family during the past three years. Your compassion gave us strength, hope, and precious time together that we will always cherish.

It is with profound sadness that we share that Takuya peacefully passed away on June 20, surrounded by the love of his family. He fought courageously until the very end, and we are deeply grateful for every prayer, message, visit, and act of kindness that carried us through this difficult journey.

As we move forward, our focus is on helping our three children—especially our son, who is grieving deeply—and supporting our family as we adjust to life without our beloved husband and father.

We hope that all of the love and kindness you shared with Takuya reached him and continues to surround our family.

皆様からの励ましのお言葉、お祈り、ご寄付は、私たち家族にとって大きな支えとなり、卓也が病と向き合ったこの2年半を支えてくださいました。

6月20日、主人・卓也は天国へ旅立ちました。

主人は最後まで病と懸命に向き合い、本当によく頑張ってくれました。そして私たち家族も、皆様に支えられ、励まされながら、この長い闘病生活を歩むことができました。

主人を失った悲しみは計り知れませんが、これからは残された私と3人の子どもたちが前を向いて歩んでいけるよう、力を合わせて頑張ってまいります。特に子どもたち、とりわけ息子の心のケアを第一に考えながら、一日一日を大切に過ごしています。

皆様からいただいた温かいお気持ちが、どうか天国の主人にも届いていますように。

この基金は、今後も残された家族が新しい生活を歩んでいくための支えとして、大切に活用させていただきます。

また、7月31日に卓也を偲ぶ会（Celebration of Life）を執り行います。
