Asking for help is not something I ever thought I would have to do, but today I find myself in a position where I truly need the kindness and support of others.
I was recently laid off from my job and have been actively searching for work every day. I am applying for jobs, updating my resume, and doing everything I can to get back to work as quickly as possible.
At the same time, I am the primary caregiver for my disabled brother. He is currently waiting for his SSI benefits to be approved, and until that happens, we have very limited income. My priority is making sure he is cared for while also working hard to rebuild our financial stability.
Right now, I am trying to raise $1,600 to cover our rent. This assistance would allow us to remain in our home while I continue my job search and avoid falling further behind during this difficult transition.
Any amount you are able to give—whether it's $5, $20, $50, or simply sharing this campaign with others—would make a meaningful difference. Every donation brings us one step closer to staying housed and getting through this challenging chapter.
I don't expect anyone to solve my problems for me. I am simply asking for a helping hand while I work toward getting back on my feet. I am determined to find employment and become financially stable again as soon as possible.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Your generosity, encouragement, prayers, and shares mean more than I can express. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for helping us through this difficult time.
Glen
