This fundraiser is to help the Champlain family. Funds are being raised to show our love & support to help the Champlain family cover the funeral service and other expenses related to the loss of Leonard, who passed away on Sunday June 28, 2026. 

Leonard was retired from the Holts Summit Fire Protection District after 15 years of dedicated service as a Firefighter & Apparatus Operator. His contributions to the District & the community that he loved so much will never be forgotten. He was also a valuable member of the Affordable Towing team where he not only served as wrecker operator but he also dispatched. Let's not forget the security job that he loved as his Monday to Friday. He will be missed immensely by many including his family, friends & his brother & sister figherfighters.
