This fundraiser is to help Ken cover medical bills that have accumulated due to medical conditions and cancer.

Ken has always been hard working. He had often helped those closest to him when they needed help doing work he knew how to do. 

Well now he is the one who needs help. As most know Ken has always been a proud man. So this is hard for him to ask for help. But, due to major medical conditions he needs help now. 

Around the time COVID came about he was working doing construction and maintenance as he has done for many years. He started having a harder time breathing and having asthma. He finally went in and seen a Dr. He was diagnosed with COPD. This was a hard diagnosis for him. As his COPD got worse he had to stop working. He used up all of his savings while waiting for Social Security to approve him. 

He finally got approved for Social Security. With this he felt some relief. That was short lived when he started feeling run down and eventually ended up going to the hospital. This is where he got the worst news. He was diagnosed with Classical Non Hodgkins Lymphoma. This is a very aggressive form of cancer. Where it will start in your lymph nodes and can spread really easily. This was a hard diagnosis for him to receive. He is the type who doesn’t want to have others witness what he is battling. He eventually shared what he has been going through with those of us who are the closest to him. Reaching out to those of us who understand this battle he is enduring.

All while he is now battling severe COPD and the aggressive cancer. He ended up needing a heart surgery to fix issues and place a pacemaker. So, with all the medications, treatments and hospital stays he has had a difficult time getting all his basic bills met even without the added medical debt on top of that.

He is still battling the aggressive cancer. He does weekly chemo treatments and shots for the cancer. These treatments mean multiple trips to the hospital a week for the treatments and care for his picc line. With current gas prices this gets quite spendy and time consuming.

So this is where he is now asking for help. Any amount of donations will help immensely. Aside from this donation page we will also will have a charity account set up at America First in his name, as well as any money transferring apps (those are in my name right and I will withdraw the funds and get them to him, Just put his name in the Info line).
