Help Me Through This Unexpected Season

To everyone who has taken the time to read my story, thank you.

If you know me, you know that asking for help is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. I’ve always tried to be the person who shows up for others—whether that’s offering a helping hand, a listening ear, or simply being there when someone needs me. I never imagined I would be the one needing that same kindness in return.

A short time ago, I underwent major gastrointestinal surgery. While I was hopeful that the surgery would be the beginning of my healing journey, I’ve since experienced unexpected complications that have made recovery much more difficult than anticipated. My doctors have placed me on an extended medical leave, and there is now a possibility that I may need a second surgery in the next two weeks or sooner.

Because of these complications, I am currently unable to work and am very limited in what I can physically do each day. Although I have applied for medical leave benefits, my claim is still being processed, and I’ve been told it may be several more weeks before any payments begin. Until then, I have no income coming in while everyday bills, medical expenses, and household costs continue to add up.

This has been an incredibly humbling experience. As difficult as it is to ask for help, I’m choosing to set my pride aside and trust that God places people in our lives for a reason. I truly believe He is walking beside me through this storm, even on the hardest days. My faith reminds me that God is faithful, even when the path ahead feels uncertain, and I know He is using this season to teach me that sometimes allowing others to help is also a blessing.

If you feel led to support me, any donation—big or small—will help cover essential living expenses, medical bills, prescriptions, transportation to appointments, and allow me to focus on healing instead of worrying about how I’ll make ends meet while I’m unable to work.

If you’re not able to give financially, I completely understand. Your prayers, words of encouragement, and simply sharing this fundraiser would mean more than I can express.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story, for lifting me up in prayer, and for surrounding me with love during one of the most challenging seasons of my life. I am believing for healing, trusting God’s timing, and holding onto His promise that He will never leave us nor forsake us.

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” — Psalm 46:1

With love and gratitude,

Amber
