Mikka is my fiance.  Her brother, Christion, was trajectly injured in a terroist bombing in Tipo-Tipo, Basilan Island September 10th.  All his internal organs were damaged and he waited for his sister to get to the hospital so he could say goodbye.  They are part of a large family and raised by a single mom.

Christian went into a coma before Mikka could arrive.  She didn't even know that he had been in the hospital for a week because Christian and his mom both lost their mobiles in the bombing.

Christian was so injured that he had to have dialysis while he was unconscious.  Unfortunately, the family decided to take him off life support because he was unrepsonsive and had no chance of survival.

Mikka also lost her teaching job a few months earlier because the school was destroyed by an earthquake and is now unemployed.  Her family is very very poor and cannot pay the hospital bill. Since they cannot pay the hospital bill, they cannot get Christians body for a proper vigil and burial.  

This is causing a large emotional and finalcial burden on Mikka and her family.
