A friend of mine was recently hit by a car and is now seriously impaired. He’s an older man who can barely see and is struggling to manage even basic things for himself.
He is disabled and believed his portion of the rent had been paid. Unfortunately, he misunderstood what was still owed, and about 30% of his rent went unpaid for four months. He has now fallen behind and is facing the possibility of losing his home.
He’s proud and would never ask for help himself—which is why I’m asking for him.
We’re trying to raise the money needed to get his rent caught up and keep a roof over his head. Donations can go directly toward his rent, so you can know exactly what your contribution is helping with.
