Please Help Me While I Recover From a Work-Related Shoulder Injury

Hello, my name is Sharrone Lindsey and I’m asking for help during one of the most difficult times of my life.

I worked in bus maintenance, a physically demanding job that I took great pride in. While performing my job, I suffered a serious rotator cuff injury to my shoulder. Despite the injury happening at work, my workers’ compensation claim was denied. Shortly afterward, my short-term disability benefits were also denied, leaving me without an income when I needed it most.

I am now six weeks post-operative from rotator cuff surgery and still have a long road to recovery. My recovery requires physical therapy, follow-up appointments, and time to heal before I can safely return to work. Right now, I am unable to earn a living, and the financial burden has become overwhelming.

I’m asking for help with my basic living expenses, including rent, utilities, groceries, medical bills, prescriptions, transportation to appointments, and other necessities while I recover and continue to fight for the benefits I believe I should have received.
