Help Roy Jackson Rebuild After a Devastating House Fire

On August 12, 2026, my neighbor and friend, Roy Jackson, experienced a devastating house fire that completely destroyed his home. Roy has officially lost his home and everything he had worked so hard for.

Sadly, Roy was also seriously injured in the fire. He suffered third-degree burns to his chest and part of his back and has undergone two skin-graft surgeries as part of his recovery. He has a long road ahead of him, both physically and emotionally.

Roy is currently going through another difficult setback. After being discharged and staying at his sister's home in Naples, Florida, he had only been home for three days before he had to return to Tampa General Hospital. Roy is currently in the cardiac unit, where doctors are running tests to determine exactly what is going on and what is causing his current health issues.

Right now, Roy needs our support more than ever. His hope is to eventually get back on his own two feet, find a place to call home again, and begin rebuilding his life.

I am starting this fundraiser to help Roy with the many expenses that come with losing his home and recovering from such serious injuries. Donations will help with necessities such as temporary housing, clothing, food, personal items, medical and recovery-related expenses, and eventually getting him back into a home of his own.
