Hello everyone! It’s so nice to meet you all. My name is Sage, and if you give me just 2 minutes of your time, I’d love to explain why I need your help. 🩷

As someone who grew up in the south, I’ve had very little access to most things my northern and western friends always had— which includes information, education, and the opportunity of personal discovery. As I’ve grown more knowledgeable about myself and my body, I began to really crave a future where I could feel comfortable and happy in my own skin. I promised myself in 2021 that if I still felt this way, that I would do something about it.  

I work very hard Monday through Saturday, wielding 2 part time jobs as best as I can. I have so many dreams that I’ve been working towards, but my hope for a future I can be proud of has.. began to dim. Every single day, I wonder if I will ever feel truly like myself. Everything feels like a pipedream that I can never fully achieve because I can’t even see myself in my own future. I’m ready to cut through the fog and take control of my future.

I’ve made myself wait long enough. So almost 5 years later, I’m finally making plans and asking for support. If I can at least hit this goal of half my quoted surgery fee, I know I can cover the rest. I owe it to myself to try!

• I have so many ideas to write many fantasy novels, inspired by my dreams. 
• I’m also working hard to pursue my own business, working on a vegan foodtruck. 
• As a hands-on person, I love to create keychains and draw, hoping to also learn to create and handle pottery. 
• I want to eventually travel the world! It’s been one of my dreams to experience a German Christmas market. 
• Becoming a wildlife rehabber, and showing kindness to our smaller friends.
• I would love to learn how to sew and create custom plushies, costumes, and clothing. 

I’m 25 years old now, but I believe, deep in my heart, that there is still a future where I can wake up as myself and do all the things I‘ve always wanted to do. So if there is anything you can spare for me, or even well wishes, I will be so eternally grateful.
