Raising Hope began with one single mom’s struggle — a mom who tried everything, called everywhere, and still couldn’t find the help her family desperately needed. Along the way, I realized I wasn’t alone. Countless single parents and seniors in Washington are fighting the same battle quietly, often without anyone to turn to. This fundraiser is my way of saying: You don’t have to struggle in silence anymore! 
 

This fundraiser exists because asking for help isn’t easy — but sometimes it’s necessary. Raising Hope aims to provide direct, immediate support to struggling single parents and senior citizens who are falling through the cracks of Washington’s resource network. These are individuals who are doing everything they can yet still face barriers that no one should have to face alone.

Funds raised will go toward:

• Emergency needs for single parents (food, transportation, childcare gaps, essential

bills)

• Support for senior citizens experiencing hardship or isolation

• Community outreach to connect individuals with resources that do exist, even when they’re hard to find

• Building a small but meaningful safety net for those who have nowhere else to turn
