Dear Friends and Neighbors,
In times of joy, we celebrate together—and in times of sudden sorrow, we come together as a community. Today, we are called to wrap our arms around our dear neighbor, Tina, and her family, who are navigating the heavy weight of an unexpected loss.
They are grieving the passing of a beloved husband, father, and grandfather—a man who was not only the heart of their home but also the family’s breadwinner. His absence leaves a void that will be deeply felt, and it also brings many practical unknowns that no family should have to face alone.
We know that Tina is strong, but we also know that strength is often found in the love of friends and neighbors. We want to rally around them to offer comfort, kindness, and generosity—not to highlight what they lack, but to remind them of how much they are cherished and loved.
Services will be held in Kentucky at a later date, but the need for support is now. Let’s come together to help answer some of those unknown - through a contribution to ease the financial burden.
Most of all, let’s surround Tina and her family with the uplifting spirit of our neighborhood. Let’s show them that even in the midst of grief, they are not alone. That they are loved. And that we are here. We may do a meal train but will know more in the coming days.
Every act of kindness, big or small, will be a light in their lives.
Thank you for being the kind of neighbors who show up with open hearts. Together, let’s carry this family through the unknown with compassion, hope, love and gratitude.
Thanking you in advance for showing up.
