Luis is an amazing Husband and father. He served 16 years in the US Army and another 6 in the Army National Guard. He is loved by everyone who meets him and adores by his family. We couldn’t have asked for a better role model for our kids and grandkids. Luis loves Jesus and family more than anything. 
 On the 26th of May he was taken to the hospital for what he thought was appendicitis, but sadly turned out to be Renal Cell Carcinoma. Kidney Cancer. He was admitted to the VA hospital a week later due to complications and severe bleeding, for 5 days, where they determined it may have spread to his bladder. We are still awaiting those results. While in the VA, the doctors also found Pulmonary Nodules on his lungs, but they are too small at this time to take samples, so that was not included in his biopsy. We will have to wait at least 3 months to have that looked at. Luis had just been hired at a new job, a week before diagnosis, and is not able to start that job until treatment is complete and he is healed. He may qualify for temporary disability, but that won’t be determined for a few months. We are struggling already, 3 weeks in to keep the lights on and food on the table. Any help and prayers would be appreciated so much. Luis needs nothing more than to be able to focus on his treatments and move past this without having to worry. He has already given so much.
