Hello to all and thank you for taking time to read my plea. Life for me has never been easy. I grew up way too fast and way too early making work second nature. Raised by my grandparents who were dairy farmers, it was just natural to get an honest days rest after an honest days work. with that being said, I started having orthopedic issues around the age of 15. my right knee just gave out, tearing my ACL. At 18 I had that replaced and what an experience! between 18 and 35 I had numerous surgeries and at 38, had my right knee completely replaced. now, here I sit, 45, devoted wife, mother of 3, and still as eager to make the day as productive as possible… until I couldn't. and it was that quick. I was doing some outside spring cleaning like I usually do, but something in my hip “caught”. shook that off and went about my plans.. it progressively got worse to where every move hurt. finally, bit the bullet and went to my orthopedic doctor. turns out that not only are my hip sockets “oval” shaped, but they are crumbling to pieces. My left is worse then my right but both inevitably need replaced. I'm fixing to have my first replacement within the next 2 weeks and I'm a bit concerned to be honest. it's a big surgery.. but honestly, anything is better then what I'm feeling on a minute by minute basis. every step is agony. I can't sit too long, I can't lay down, I can't roll over in bed, or even walk to my back yard without screaming in pain. what I would give for a good nights rest. I have questioned the universe as to why me?! but I always am glad it is me and not my husband or children. my husband is legally blind, but we are an amazing team. and we have to be because we are all each other have. I'm the “black sheep” of the family and have been for years. I have half dozen family members within a 10 mile radius and we haven't spoken in over 2 years. Im brutally honest and can't help myself. my husband very suddenly lost his father about 2 years ago, and even though they fought like cats and dogs, he misses him dearly. my husband and I have our own property clean up business that was going great and we love doing it. but without me, their is no us. and vise versa. so our bills have suffered dramatically. our mortgage is facing forclose. we haven't had power in almost a year and we go hungry far more frequently then I like to admit. we just need help to get us through my surgerys and every penny will go toward my rehabilitation and our home expenses. please, if you can help, in anyway, we would be forever grateful
