There are moments when navigating the healthcare system feels like trying to weather a violent storm without a compass. I know because I’ve been there. While supporting someone I love through a difficult healthcare journey, I experienced firsthand what so many individuals and families face every day: limited resources, confusing systems, frustrating roadblocks, and the exhausting process of trying to figure out where to turn when you desperately need answers.
 

When you're already emotionally overwhelmed, navigating appointments, paperwork, providers, insurance, records, and next steps can feel impossible. During that season, my faith became my anchor. It reminded me that even in uncertainty, there is hope. But that experience also opened my eyes to a much bigger problem: Too many people are trying to navigate the healthcare system alone.

I couldn't walk away from that realization. Instead, I decided to build something. Introducing Anchor Health & Human Services Anchor Health & Human Services was founded to help individuals and families navigate their healthcare journey with clarity, confidence, and steadfast support. Our mission is to bridge the gap between individuals, families, and providers through:
Expert advocacy. Strategic care coordination. Healthcare navigation. Medical and dental clearance support. Resource connection and support.

Anchor isn't being built solely from personal experience.
I bring more than a decade of professional leadership experience within medical and dental organizations, where I've worked closely with patients, providers, teams, operations, and complex healthcare processes.

I also returned to Columbia College and earned my degree in Human Services because I wanted the education and specialized knowledge to serve people at a deeper level.
Personal experience showed me the problem. Professional experience and formal education gave me the tools to help solve it. And my faith gave me the reason to keep going.
Anchor is built on Hebrews 6:19: “We have this hope as an anchor for the soul.” That scripture represents exactly what I want Anchor to be for the people we serve—a steady place to turn when everything else feels uncertain.

Today, I'm asking you to help me take Anchor from vision to fully operational service.  My goal is to raise $25,000 to complete our launch phase and position Anchor Health & Human Services to begin serving individuals and families.
This isn't simply funding a business. It's helping build the infrastructure behind a service designed to help people who are already overwhelmed navigate a system that can be overwhelming on its own.
