Two years ago, my grandmother lost the love of her life. Since his passing, she has carried the weight of that loss every day. Unfortunately, due to financial hardship and a lack of support, she has not been able to place a headstone at his gravesite. It breaks my heart knowing that the man she shared so many years and memories with still does not have a proper marker to honor his life.

As her granddaughter, I am starting this fundraiser to help provide not only a headstone for my grandfather, but also one for my grandmother so that when the time comes, they can rest side by side, just as they lived their lives together. Their love story deserves to be remembered, and having matching headstones will create a lasting tribute to the life they built and the family they created.
