Dear Friends, Family, and strangers,
My husband Holly is fighting for every single breath he takes. After a courageous battle with COPD, his doctors at Temple hospital have delivered the ultimate reality check: he needs a life -saving double lung transplant.
We are officially in a race against time. To be placed on the active transplant list and survive this illness, we must raise 20, 000 within the next 90 days. For those who know Holly he is a humble, gentle devoted father, with a heart for the youth.and loyal friend.. He used to spend his days actively participating in churxh, providing for his family and volunteering at the food bank where he happily served the less fortunate. Today his world has shrunk to the length of an oxygen cord. Simple tasks like laughing, eating, or hugging our children and grandchildren leave him completely exhausted and gasping for air.
The financial barrier to survival
While health insurance covers a portion of surgery itself, it does not cover the overwhelming secondary expenses required for survival. We must secure funding immediately to handle:
The listing deposit: Upfront proof of financial capability required by the transplant center.
Relocation cost: We must live with 2 hours of the hospital for 3-6 months post surgery.
Life-lLong Medications:
Immunosuppressant anti- rejection drugs that cost thousands monthly out -of -pocket .
How you can save his life today
We cannot do this alone, and we do not have the luxury of time. Every single day counts toward our 90- day goal. Please consider helping us in theee powerful ways
- Donate: No amount is too small.
- A gift of 25$ or 50$ directly funds his next breath.
- Organize: if you can host a local benefit, bake sale, or restaurant night, please reach out to me directly.
- Thank you for giving Holly the chance to take a deep breath again. Your generosity is quite literally his lifeline.. With all our love and gratitude Nyeasha Wright
