Dear friends, family, and kind strangers,

I am writing to you today with a heavy heart, but also with an unwavering determination to stand by my husband, Mark, as he faces the fight of his life once again.

Just a few months ago, we received the incredible news that Mark was in remission. We breathed a collective sigh of relief, began to look toward the future, and celebrated what we thought was the end of a long, painful chapter.

Sadly, our relief was short-lived. During a recent routine checkup, we received the devastating news that the cancer has returned.

Watching someone you love fight this disease once is heartbreaking. Watching them have to gear up to fight it all over again, right after finding a moment of peace, is indescribable. Mark is a fighter, and he is ready to take this head-on, but the emotional and financial toll of this relapse is heavy.

As we step back into the world of oncology appointments, treatments, and aggressive medical interventions, the medical bills are already beginning to pile up. Beyond the immediate costs of care, we are facing a massive wave of unknowns—including time away from work, travel for specialists, and daily living expenses while our lives are put on hold.

We want Mark’s only focus to be on healing, strength, and beating this cancer for good. We do not want him worrying about the financial strain this puts on our family.
