Help Me Reclaim My Life Back: An Endometriosis Surgery & Community Fundraiser 💛🌻

I need my life back, and I can’t do this alone.

For years, I’ve lived with severe endometriosis and chronic pain that have affected my ability to work, move freely, and enjoy the life I’m working so hard to build.

I’ve undergone excision surgery before, and it gave me years of improved quality of life. Now, after years of relief, my symptoms have returned, and I’m exploring the next steps toward surgery with my specialist.

My endometriosis has affected multiple areas of my body, and the physical, emotional, and financial toll has been debilitating. I want the opportunity to pursue treatment, recover, and rebuild a life where pain doesn’t dictate everything.

Unfortunately, the cost of surgery is a significant barrier. My previous out-of-network surgeon estimate, from 2024, was approximately $5,600 for surgeon fees alone. That does not include hospital fees, anesthesia, other medical expenses, or the time I’ll need to recover. These costs need to be updated as I work toward scheduling surgery.

My proposed fundraising goal is $17,333, to help cover surgical expenses and give me some breathing room for recovery and essential living costs while my ability to work is limited.

I’m reaching out to my beautiful, creative community: friends, musicians, singers, bands, DJs, venues, live painters, tattoo artists, clowns, burlesque performers, belly dancers, fire performers, flow artists, AV artists, glassblowers, photographers, and everyone with epic sound systems, lasers, lighting, and a big heart. Just like my big squishy heart. 🦋💖

Imagine a community event where our art, music, movement, creativity, and generosity come together for a cause that affects so many people living with chronic illness.

I’m hoping to turn this into something joyful, collaborative, and full of the creativity that makes our community so special. And has really brought much meaning and purpose to my life over this last 9.5 years of  dancing and spinning fire. I’d love to continue doing what I love! 💝

This is about more than surgery. It’s about the chance to reclaim my quality of life. With my surgeon i was able to get 9.5 beautiful years of my life back where as before I lost 16 due to delay of diagnosis.
