About this fundraiser

Many of you see these types of post/messages and think it's a scam.  Please DO NOT ignore or disregard ...
Many of you know me, many of you don't but this is really me Simone reaching out and asking for help to lay my Grandmother to rest properly.  This is the hardest time of my life and IDK what to do. My Grandmother passed away August 2nd  at 7:45 pm  moments after me ,my son, my neighbor Amber and her 2 boys arrived to visit her as I had done everyday since  she had been admitted on July 19.
Her death was unexpected and unfortunately we were not prepared nor do we have the funds to have a service and lay her to rest.  The insurance policy that we all knew she once upon a time paid faithfully had not been paid since 2015.  My Grandmother had a long fight with Dementia Wich spiraled out of control after her youngest daughters murder December 2022.  During my Grandmothers hospital stay Doctors deemed her incompetent. She was placed on 6Liters of oxygen and had a series of test ran that results shocked  us all. The day before her passing the Doctor called and spoke with me about a  care plan for her. She had Lung Cancer Wich had progressively spread into her stomach.  He told me she had 2 to 3 weeks of life left and that there's no treatment he can give her other than comfort and allow her to eat and drink whatever she wanted...That night I visited her  and we talked and laughed ,I brushed her hair, she asked me to bring her a orange soda  when I come the next day. As I hugged her and gave her a kiss on the forehead she said Suga Mama I'm going home tomorrow, I said No you not the Drs didn't say that and she laughed and said I am going home watch what I tell you. We laughed I hugged and kissed her again and told her I love her and Good Night, I'll see you tomorrow mama, She said drive safe and I love you too Suga Mama.....
And that was it she's gone now and I need help. I have no Family here in San Diego. It was just our small little family of 4, first my Aunt passed away by the foul actions of a young man who needed $40  and 8 months later my Granny gained her wings and the Lord called her home. She was a fighter, she battled Dementia and  had a long fight with cancer alone cause she never told us, she said she didnt want to worry us.
Right now I'm in a place I've never been emotionally and mentally. These past few days feel like a nightmare.
Anything you can donate will be appreciated. And all funds will go towards a service for her, she wanted to be buried and said when she died don't let them burn her up and make sure she has lots of flowers Wich she loved her plants and flowers. Burial is expensive and if cremation is my only option  I hope to at least honor one of her dying wishes.
