Normally…I wouldn’t want to do this, but given the current state of the economy, I feel like I’m not left with much choice. 

A couple of weeks ago, I started experiencing chest pain, heart palpitations, dizziness, confusion, and fatigue. My mind immediately jumped to something cardiac related. A few ER visits later, we confirmed frequent PVCs (irregular/extra heartbeats) but no other major cardiac event was happening.

Finally, a CT scan revealed a possible culprit, an adrenal adenoma, or a (likely benign) tumor on my adrenal gland. I have a series of upcoming appointments, have had to quickly come off of mental health medications I’ve been on long term due to the fact that they can worsen PVCs, and am now on unpaid leave from work. 

I have tried for STD, but have been getting the runaround. I am a single parent to my 12-year-old son. Since losing his father in 2019, I’ve been doing everything I can to keep our household stable. Right now, I’m facing a gap in income and trying to keep a roof over our heads and utilities on while I recover and work toward getting back to stability.
