Help Our Family Through a Financial Transition

I’m reaching out to ask for a little help during a challenging financial transition for our family.

I am currently homeschooling my child, who has a disability and requires additional support and flexibility in their education. Homeschooling has become the best option for our family, but it has also meant that I have had to devote more of my time and energy to being available for my child. As a result, our household finances have become stretched, and keeping up with everyday expenses and bills has become increasingly difficult.

My veteran husband and I are doing everything we can to manage our responsibilities and stay on our feet. I have also accepted a new remote job, which I am very grateful for, but unfortunately, I do not begin working until November 30th. That leaves our family with a difficult gap between now and when my new income begins.

I’m starting this fundraiser to help us get through that gap and keep our household stable while I continue providing my child with the care, support, and education they need.

Funds raised will go toward essential household expenses such as bills, groceries, housing costs, utilities, transportation, and other necessities during this transition.

I’m not looking for a handout as a permanent solution. I’m asking for a helping hand during a temporary period when our expenses are here now, but my new income hasn’t started yet.

Any amount would genuinely help, and if you aren’t able to contribute, simply sharing our fundraiser with someone who might be able to help would mean a great deal to our family.
