❤️ Help Mike & Our Family Through This Medical Crisis ❤️

I never thought I would find myself writing something like this or asking others for help, but right now, my husband Mike and I are facing more than we can handle on our own.

Last year, Mike suffered a heart attack, and our lives changed overnight. We thought we were finally beginning to move forward, but this past June, Mike had to undergo a double bypass surgery.

Unfortunately, our journey didn't end there.

After his bypass, Mike was back in the hospital because of blood clotting complications related to his surgery. While dealing with everything surrounding his heart and recovery, we were given another devastating diagnosis: Mike has lung cancer.

Mike has been unable to work for over a year because of everything he has been going through medically. Losing his income has put an incredible financial strain on our household.

I am a CNA by profession, but because Mike has spent so much time in the hospital and needs care and support, I had to leave my previous job and take a significant pay cut so I could work closer to home and be available for him when he needs me.

I am currently working in retail, doing everything I can to keep us going. But with only my income coming in, we are barely making it paycheck to paycheck.

And unfortunately, it isn't just the medical bills.

Our home is also in desperate need of significant repairs. Our porch is falling apart, our roof is leaking, and there are other repairs that we simply cannot afford to put off anymore. Every time we think we're getting one thing under control, something else seems to happen.

It honestly feels like everything is piling up at once.

Between Mike's medical care, hospital stays, procedures, medications, everyday household bills, groceries, transportation, and now the repairs our home desperately needs, we have reached a point where we simply cannot keep up on our own.

This is incredibly difficult for us to ask for. We have always worked hard and tried to take care of ourselves and our responsibilities. But after everything that has happened over the past year, we are struggling, and we truly need help.

Any money raised will go toward Mike's medical expenses and treatment, household bills, groceries, transportation, medications, and necessary repairs to our home, including the leaking roof and deteriorating porch.

Our biggest priority right now is Mike. We want to make sure he has the care and support he needs without constantly worrying about whether we can afford groceries, keep the lights on, pay our bills, or make our home safe.

We aren't asking because we want an easy road. We're asking because we've been hit with more than we can carry alone.
