2100 BLOCK OF S. WALNUT (SPRINGFIELD) for an ambulance enroute to another call who came across an unconscious male cyclist in the road. After Springfield Fire arrived on scene it was determined the patient who has sustained life-threatening injuries was possibly the victim of a hit-and-run. AVOID THE AREA and if you live nearby please check any security cameras you have and contact PD if you notice anything that might seem helpful to the investigation. The article posted was my husband that was involved in a horrific accident last weekend. He is still fighting and improving everyday. While he is recovering I am working on calling different agencies for assistance with our monthly expenses, but have not been successful.
