Hello Friends and Family, Coworkers and Acquaintances: 
 

My mother lost her husband of 29 years (partner for 36 years) on May 28, 2026 after only a few short weeks of being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. 

As we know, it is very hard to ask for help for many of us, and so I humbly ask, on behalf of my family for any assistance you can share in this trying time. 

We are reaching out to community to ask for assistance with medical bills - which will start rolling in shortly, and they will be exceeding the small maximum that the health insurance will allow.  

Unfortunately, we found out the hard way, that Thom never set up life insurance, so there is no help coming from that direction. 

My youngest sister Meg lives with my mom and they will be working hard to pay expenses and pick up the pieces over the next several months, and beyond.  This includes the car that Thom left in his name and is the only transportation they have access to at this time.

Any support is helpful and we have a large goal to help offset the monetary and emotional impact in Thom's absence.

Thomas William Braddish, 59, affectionately known to all as Thom, passed away on May 28, 2026, in Portland, Texas. Born on June 30, 1966, in Aurora, Illinois, Thom’s life was a testament to the warmth and love he carried in his heart for his family, friends, and beloved dogs.
