My mother was living life to the fullest, running errands, taking her grandkids skating, and enjoying every moment. Then, in a single day, everything changed. We found out she had brain cancer, and she was admitted to the hospital immediately. After a series of tests and scans, we learned that it wasn’t just brain cancer—she also has kidney and lung cancer. On July 5, 2026, she underwent brain surgery to begin her fight.

This isn’t her first battle with cancer. In 2015, my mother overcame uterus cancer and celebrated by ringing the bell after her final treatment. She’s always been strong, but this time, the challenges are even greater. The costs for co-payments, treatments, medications, and travel to appointments are overwhelming. We’re also facing expenses for groceries and everyday needs as she focuses on her health.

Honestly, I am asking for help for her with co-payments and medications so that she can focus on getting healthier. My children, ages 15, 12, and 10, and I love my mother deeply. I am her only child, and we have no family to ask for help. When my father left my mom after 38.5 years, his side of the family has nothing to do with us either.
