Help My Family Move Forward

My family and I never imagined that we would find ourselves in a position where we would have to ask others for help. But after everything we have been through these past few months, we have reached a point where we truly need support.

For the past three months, my family and I have been homeless. We had a place we called home, but we began dealing with a serious mold problem in our apartment. We tried to get the situation taken care of. We asked for the problem to be fixed and asked to be moved into another unit so that our family could have a safe place to live. Unfortunately, that never happened.

Instead, we ended up going to court and eventually being evicted.

Losing our home has been heartbreaking. Three months without a stable place to call home has taken a lot out of us. Every day brings another worry — where we're going to stay, how we're going to get what we need, and how we're going to make it through the next day.

We are doing our best to stay strong for our family. There are moments when it feels overwhelming, but we refuse to give up. We just want the opportunity to start over, rebuild, and get our family back to a place where we can feel safe, secure, and hopeful again.

We are asking for help with anything people are willing and able to give. We don't expect anyone to carry our entire burden. Even a small donation could help us with food, transportation, clothing, personal necessities, temporary housing, getting into a new place, or simply taking another step toward getting back on our feet.

If you aren't able to donate, please don't feel bad. Sharing our fundraiser, sending a kind message, or simply keeping our family in your thoughts means more than you know.

Asking for help isn't something that comes easy to us. But right now, we are choosing to put our pride aside because our family needs a chance to move forward.

We are praying that this fundraiser reaches people who are willing to help us get through this difficult chapter and begin a new one.
